Who We Are
Cub Scout Pack 234 family oriented scouting unit chartered by the Riverside Community Association. Most Pack and Den events are held at the Riverside Community Center on the corner of Riverside Parkway and Church Creek Road. Pack 234 is a member of the Harford District in the Baltimore Area Council. Many of our members attend Church Creek Elementary school or other surrounding elementary schools.

As a parent, you want your child to grow up to be a person of worth and a self-reliant, dependable, and caring individual. Scouting has these same goals in mind and provides a program that can help your child learn, grow and mature while they are having fun. Scouting weaves lifetime values into fun and educational activities designed to assist parents in strengthening character, developing good citizenship, enhancing physical fitness and building self-esteem and ethical values in youth.

Our Pack holds large Pack events and outings. Our Pack has activities year round. The Scouting Year runs from the middle of June to the middle of the next June. Some of the events and outings in our Pack include Pinewood Derby, Fall and Spring Family Camping, Fishing Derby, Downhill Derby, and a summer Pool Party. There are always new and exciting activities that the Pack Committee looks to add in during the Scouting year.
Uniform and Insignia of
the Cub Scouts
There are 6 different ranks in Cub Scouts that correlate to Elementary School Grade Levels. Each rank has a uniform that is specific to that rank. Rank information can be found below:
Kindergarten - Lion
1st Grade - Tiger
2nd Grade - Wolf
3rd Grade - Bear
4th Grade - Webelo
5th Grade - Arrow of Light
