Tiger Scouts
To become a Tiger Cub Scout, your child must be in first grade.
As a Tiger Cub, your child will be doing many exciting things with their Den, their Pack, and with family at home. The Tiger Cub program is based on the idea of Search, Discover, and Share. That is what you and your scout will be doing during your time as a Tiger Cub. You will Search out new activities, Discover new things, and Share them with others.
The trail to the Tiger Cub badge is broken down into five achievements, and each achievement has three activities that must be completed, which make a total of fifteen activities in all.
Once your scout has accomplished all fifteen activities, they will have completed the requirements to "Advance in Rank". They will be awarded their Tiger Cub badge at the Pack ranking ceremony.
During their time as a Tiger Cub, your scout may also work on a wide array of Beltloops. These are awarded at the monthly Pack Meetings.

Shirt: The official blue uniform shirt. Like every Cub Scout uniform after Lion, this one is a button-up instead of a T-shirt. It can have long or short sleeves, depending on the Cub’s preference.

Belt: The official navy blue belt.

Cap: The official blue cap, complete with an orange front and the Tiger emblem.

Neckerchief: The orange Tiger neckerchief with the Tiger emblem. As you keep reading, you’ll see that each rank’s associated neckerchief has its own unique color and emblem!

Neckerchief slide: The official gold slide with the Tiger emblem. Just like with the cap and the neckerchief, the design of the slide will vary depending on the Cub Scout’s rank.
